Theano Touma
Turning "too young" into "just right"
How we turned a psychiatrist’s biggest insecurity, her youth, into her sharpest competitive advantage (UVP).
The Challenge
The "Silver-Hair" syndrome
Theano Touma, a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, approached us with a paralyzing fear. In a medical field dominated by older, “silver-haired” authority figures with decades of tenure, she worried that her age would be perceived as a lack of experience.
She feared that parents, looking for authority, would bypass her for older professionals, viewing her youth as a liability rather than an asset.

Relatability
The Strategic Pivot
We flipped the narrative by positioning her youth not as a lack of experience, but as a bridge to connection.
-
The Insight Traditional, older doctors often struggle to connect with the digital generation, creating a “gap” of understanding.
-
The UVP (Unique Value Proposition) We defined her as the “Relatability Factor.” Because she is young, she speaks the language of the teenager. She understands the pressure of social media, the modern anxieties, and the digital world in a way an older professional cannot.
-
The Positioning We moved her from “Junior Doctor” to “The Modern Ally.” While older doctors offer distance and authority, Theano offers closeness and understanding .
We didn’t hide her age; we highlighted it.

The Creative Caregiver
01.
The Creator
Theano isn't the "Ruler" (the strict doctor) or the distant "Sage". She walks beside the child on their path, creating a relationship based on trust rather than hierarchy.

Brand Voice
The Empathetic Ally
The brand voice of Theano Touma is anchored in the concept of “Warm Directness.” It moves away from the distant, academic tone of traditional psychiatry to embrace a language that is scientifically grounded yet deeply human.
It reflects the persona of an “Empathetic Ally” who balances the clinical authority of a doctor with the relatability of a mentor. This tone is unapologetically supportive, translating complex medical terms into the language of the modern family to ensure that a diagnosis becomes a tool for understanding rather than a source of fear.
By avoiding “wooden” language and judgment, the brand fosters a safe space where parents feel validated in their struggles and teenagers feel truly heard by someone who speaks their digital language.
Core Brand Values
The brand’s values define the ethical code shaping its identity and forming the basis for trust-building with the family.
Deep Respect
Treating the child's personality and the parent's struggle with dignity, ensuring the therapeutic process is held sacred and free from judgment.
Genuine Connection
Using youth as a strategic advantage to understand trends and digital culture, standing "beside" the teenager rather than "opposite" them as a distant authority.
Active Hope
Moving beyond the diagnosis to focus on the solution. Every difficulty is viewed as a bridge to something better, instilling the certainty that "things will improve".
Emotional Safety
Creating a physical and emotional environment where both the child and the family feel safe to let their guard down, away from the fear of criticism or stigma.
The Visual Solution
A Continuous Embrace
Guided by this new confidence, we crafted an identity that felt fresh, modern, and distinct from the “stiff” aesthetics of traditional psychiatry.
The Silent Dialogue
The negative space reveals two profiles facing each other, symbolizing the “Ally” relationship – listening rather than just prescribing.
The Continuous Journey
Drawn with a single, unbroken line, the mark represents the therapeutic path from vulnerability to resilience.
The Hidden Monogram
At its core, it is a stylized Greek Theta (θ), honoring the founder while softening the sharp edges of academic typography.
The Protective Embrace
The larger curve (Theano) gently wraps around the smaller one (the child), visually promising safety and protection.
